All cryptographic operations are performed entirely on your device. No data ever leaves your device as part of the app's core functionality.
Locked Pages does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app is distributed via Apple App Store and Google Play, which have their own privacy policies.
If you enable biometric unlocking, this is handled entirely by your device OS. Locked Pages never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric data. We only receive a boolean confirmation that authentication succeeded.
Locked Pages is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us immediately if you believe a child has provided us with personal data.
Since we collect no data on our servers, there is no personal data at risk from our end. The security of your files rests on the strength of your password and AES-256 GCM encryption.
If you forget your password, your encrypted files cannot be recovered — by you or by us. There is no backdoor, no master key, and no reset mechanism. This is intentional.
